…For this showing by Catherine Gallant Dance, Dances by Isadora continued a multi-year project with the objective of performing and documenting the entire repertoire of Isadora Duncan. Today we saw two rarely-performed works from 1914 which Duncan created during her year at Bellevue outside Paris, following the tragic deaths of her children. Grande Marche is set to music of Franz Schubert and is an ensemble piece. Reflets D’Allemagne¬†are three waltzes by the French composer Florent Schmitt. Both scores are for piano four-hands and were performed live by Mary Jo Pagano and Alan Moverman…
